Except that the 911 has amazing style.I'm one of those rare people that prefer style and luxury instead of high performance and over-priced window stickers.
Ah! That beautiful green of the past!I had a 1969 Electra 225. Looked just like this one.

The engine was a 434-4 427 CU engine. Had a 22-gallon tank and it may have been slightly better than 2.4, but not by much.Ah! That beautiful green of the past!
C'mon now! 2.4 mpg?![]()
My brother took Mine into Calaveras Canyon (South East SF Bay Area - Milpitas) and flipped the thing end for end into a creek. We towed it home, pulled the plugs, cranked a few times and it started right up. Can't beat that slant 6.Some idiot ran a Red Light and therefore I hit him, totally ruined the frontend.
Totalled.
I would LOVE to still have that Machine.
Nice Cragars! At least it wasn't the green.
When I got on my 440, I could watch the gas gauge drop. The engine was a 434-4 427 CU engine. Had a 22-gallon tank and it may have been slightly better than 2.4, but not by much.

Yep, used to measure those engines by the number of stations it could pass. lolWhen I got on my 440, I could watch the gas gauge drop.
I love that car. A buddy had one back in the day. Though I always wanted a mid70s Triumph TR6.
I had a 68 Plymouth road runner with a 383... very fast...When I got on my 440, I could watch the gas gauge drop.
72 Cuda... I've always wanted one... just like that one....Can't tell what that is, but I know it's MOPAR.
I don't have the bank account for that one.If you're looking for actual 1970's style -- look no further

Built the year I graduated high school.
My father said it looked like an elephant sat on a Volkswagen.
