Here we have another example of the failure of anti gunner gun laws failing. Background checks would not have stopped the shooter, he bought his gun legally. Gun registration would not have stopped the shooter, he bought his gun legally. Gun free school zones did not stop the shooter. And on a side note....I am currently watching the Showtime documentary series "Active Shooter," and I am in the middle of the Washington D.C. shooter episode. D.C.....at the time a gun free zone.....the Naval yard...a gun free zone......the guy used a pump action shot gun.....which shows that the anti gunners will not stop at AR-15s and semi auto pistols and 10 round magazines.....he murdered 12 people with that pump action shotgun....

Granted.....the guy in Nice murdered 86 with a rental truck.......but a pump action shotgun at the right target is going to make it a goal of the anti gunners too....

You KNOW what I would like. The vast majority of Americans have no need for a gun and they shouldn't have one.

You KNOW what I would like. The vast majority of Americans have no need for a gun and they shouldn't have one.

You mean the 1,500,000 Americans who actually use their guns each year to stop violent criminals including some mass shooters? Do you mean them?

We don't need more gun laws because that's how Hitler controlled his Germany. He passed laws so that no citizens could own guns so when he did whatever he wanted no one could do a thing to defend the defenseless. We need better mental health care. There are a lot of crazy people out there who need help but instead they are ignored one way or the other and bam they kill with a gun usually. Guns are bad because they make killing much easier but outlawing them is not the answer.

No rape law will stop a rapist either. No speeding law will stop a reckless driver. You can have all the laws about everything you want so the criminals can be put away for breaking it if they are ever caught. In the end no law will stop criminals from being criminals. Laws just make the law abiding citizen who is clueless feel better but we do need laws. Because how else do we deal with the few criminals that are caught.

So, guns laws maybe enacted but it will stop no one.

The colonist knew better. If they could not have owned weapons then we would still be under the united kingdom's rule of law.
I do not own any guns. I will never have anything to do with guns but I will not tell my neighbors they can't or shouldn't own a gun. Forget Germany's history or lack there of because the founding fathers understood how bad humans can be to each other which is why we have the constitution.

We need citizens who own guns legally to stop the criminal who has it illegally. Many a mass shooter was stop by someone with a legal right to carry a gun. One example in recent memory was a professor in Texas who went to get his gun from his car to shoot the bad gunman trying to kill/injure innocent students.
