New law to allow open carry of swords, machetes in Texas

Love it! I carry a knife every where I go....just clipped into my pocket...gives me a sense of safety and has come in handy dozens of times to cut rope or something.

That became law over a year ago and I have yet to see anyone carrying a sword or a machete or anything similar. Nor have I seen anyone open carrying a gun.
