You know why there are all of these late night voting dumps on election night? Because republican legislatures passed laws stating mail in ballots are not to be counted until in person ballots are counted. For instance, republicans in North Carolina passed the law that mailings were not to be counted for 8 days after the election! Why? Because they were hoping their candidates would win so overwhelmingly that the mailings would not need to be counted!
