Noah Lyles diagnosed with COVID; unsure if he will compete in Friday's 4x100m relay

Updated on August 8, 2024 at 4:46 pm

Noah Lyles, crowned the "World's Fastest Man" earlier this week at the Paris Olympics, was diagnosed with COVID a couple of days ago, his mother told NBC Olympics Thursday -- the same day he fell short of earning the gold for the United States in the 100m and 200m sprints.

I saw him on Thursday giving an interview wearing a black mask. I thought he was wearing it as an attempt to be cautious so he would not get COVID.

Turns out he was wearing it the black mask because he had already contracted COVID and received a positive COVID test.

yea, super spreader events

Just to add a bit of "hmmm..." to this,

Noah Lyles really did lost the 100m race at the 2024 Olympics and the Jamaican really did win it as his foot and his torso crossed the line first.

However, the victory was given to Noah Lyles. That upset Jamaica terribly. They complained, protested, etc... and a few days later Noah Lyles fell ill. While still at the Paris Olympics.

Those Jamaicans are similar to the Africans and the Haiti people in that they seek dark and dusty revenge.
