Obama Declared Iraq Stable & Withdrew Our Troops

Go talk to Clinton, he said Iraq had WMDs when Bush took office.

Sure he did - there were no UN inspectors in Iraq for two years. But idiot Bush did not listen to either Clinton in March 2003 on the best way to disarm Iraq of WMD if he actually had them. During the first half of March 2003, when there were UN inspectors in Iraq. Both Clintons told Bush in public to avoid war and give the inspectors more time.

So if you want to cite a Clinton, cite them also when they advised Bush to avoid war because inspection was a better way to resolve the WMD issue.
Link or lie.

However you want to give meaning to what was not said and what was actually done is all right by me. Reading comprehension is not required by liberal pukes. It's the interpretation.

Read and comprehend this:

("Major combat operations in Iraq have ended. In the Battle of Iraq, the United States and our allies have prevailed.")

Summarized In two words it is "mission accomplished.

If you have a problem with that comprehension try this.

("Major combat operations in Iraq have ended.")

Something has 'ended'. What did
Bush very explicitly declare 'ended' in
May of 2003? Major combat operations in Iraq had 'ended'.

Were major combat operations in Iraq over in May, 2003 Hossfly? Is that your interpretation of what Bush was saying under a banner that read "Mission Accomplished" Hossfly?

Now look back thirteen years. When did major combat operations in Iraq come to an end Hossfly.

What meaning do you give to what Bush said on the USS Abraham Lincoln in May 2003? Was he just kidding? Pulling your finger Hossfly?
The general conception is that Bush said "Mission accomplished". He said no such thing in those words. The crew had gone to Iraq on a deployment and when they returned to port, hoisted a banner that said "Mission accomplished". They were referring to their deployment and didn't imply the war was "over". For years liberal pukes have attributed the sentiment to Bush. They be wrong.

That's fucking stupid. You know that after Bush Sr. drove Saddam back to Iraq, satellites were placed over Iraq, the country was under sanctions, the border policed.

I believe Bush when he said this about WMD's.

You will believe what Obama tells you to believe, and Obama bragged about successfully ending the Iraq war before he screwed it up.

Where is the quote from Obama that you are referring to?
Do you totally ignore Obama while calling him great? He said it on October 21, 2011 in his speech on ending the Iraq war.

Obama does not say he successfully ended the Iraq War.

He use the word success twice: the success he refers to is his strategy for bringing the U.S. Combat role to an end. And he did. And he said our troops were proud of their success.

Obviously you never read this:

Remarks by the President on Ending the War in Iraq
James S. Brady Press Briefing Room

THE PRESIDENT: (Good afternoon, everybody. As a candidate for President, I pledged to bring the war in Iraq to a responsible end — for the sake of our national security and to strengthen American leadership around the world. After taking office, I announced a new strategy that would end our combat mission in Iraq and remove all of our troops by the end of 2011.

As Commander-in-Chief, ensuring the success of this strategy has been one of my highest national security priorities. Last year, I announced the end to our combat mission in Iraq. And to date, we’ve removed more than 100,000 troops. Iraqis have taken full responsibility for their country’s security.

A few hours ago I spoke with Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki. I reaffirmed that the United States keeps its commitments. He spoke of the determination of the Iraqi people to forge their own future. We are in full agreement about how to move forward.

So today, I can report that, as promised, the rest of our troops in Iraq will come home by the end of the year. After nearly nine years, America’s war in Iraq will be over.

Over the next two months, our troops in Iraq — tens of thousands of them — will pack up their gear and board convoys for the journey home. The last American soldier will cross the border out of Iraq with their heads held high, proud of their success, and knowing that the American people stand united in our support for our troops. That is how America’s military efforts in Iraq will end.

Buraq Hussein Obama, American president. The Great Appeaser.
Whenever Comrade Buraq finds himself dealing with a former enemy of America, or hates America or harbors animosity toward America, he assumes his, by now, routine position for him and our country, trousers and drawers dropped, severely bent over forward, hands tightly clasping his ankles, his, and our, most tender vital parts of our anatomy exposed, ready to be violated.
The only time Comrade Buraq appears to gain any spinal reinforcing steel, stands ramrod straight, anal sphincter regaining its tone, snapping tightly shut and remaining clenched throughout is when dealing with the likes of a Robert Lavoy Finicum.

It was stable enough that the Government Bush and the GOP put in place told him to leave by the date they negociated.

Hot story. Do go on...

Bush clearly defined the Mission of the Battle of Iraq and referred to it as an accomplishment.

(In this battle, we have fought for the cause of liberty, and for the peace of the world. Our nation and our coalition are proud of this accomplishment )

I'm reading Bush's words Hossfly and can't believe you actually believe Bush was speaking to the nation about one ship's deployment being the mission that was accomplished.

Definition of accomplishment:

com·plish·ment
əˈkämpliSHmənt/
noun
  1. something that has been achieved successfully.

What Bush said and what the crew's banner said was not related.

Doesn't matter. In his speech in front of the banner, Bush clearly defined what the Mission of the Battle of Iraq was and referred to it as 'this accomplishment.'

So, Bush used a noun and the banner used a verb. Bush was much more specific. You are still defending an idiot who was celebrating combat operations in Iraq being ended about eight years before they actually did.

You can't erase what Bush said by focusing on the banner and pretending Bush said nothing about the end of major combat operations eight years before they actually ended.

If Bush lied then so did both Clintons because they both said the exact same things at the exact same time.

You say they said the same 'exact' thing that Bush said on March 17, 2003 about having intelligence that leaves no doubt that SH was hiding the most lethal weapons ever devised from UN inspectors at that specific moment in time.

Your claim is impossible for the Clintons's to have made that statement. They didn't say it and as a matter of fact President Clinton pleaded just prior to the invasion to Bush to be patient and give the inspectors more time.

.
"Clinton Splits With Bush on Iraq," The Washington Post March 13, 2003
"Former president Bill Clinton, who has generally supported the Bush administration's Iraq policy in recent remarks, called on his successor yesterday to accept a more relaxed timeline in exchange for support from a majority of the United Nations Security Council members. ..[T]he former president has publicly espoused an approach substantially different from the administration's public stance."

"Deadline for war - Give the inspectors more time, urges Clinton" The Daily Telegraph March 13, 2003 "Bill Clinton yesterday urged the Bush administration to give Hans Blix as much time as he wants to complete weapons inspections in Iraq. The former president broke ranks with his successor...Mr Clinton said war might yet be avoided if Saddam Hussein were given more time to disarm. "

"Clinton recommends U.S. patience on Iraq,"Reuters, February 11, 2003. "Former U.S. President Bill Clinton said in an interview broadcast on Tuesday the United States should exercise patience in its standoff with Iraq to help build allied support for a potential strike."

Important statement: "The former president broke ranks with his successor...Mr Clinton said war might yet be avoided if Saddam Hussein were given more time to disarm. ""

Chris Matthews Rewrites History about the Clintons and the Origins of the Iraq War

I don't recall Bush ever saying the 'exact same thing' that former President Clinton was saying in March 2003.

You have a serious problem with your argument in defense of Bush's lack of patience with UN inspectors and lie in order to invade Iraq.

Attention Redfish!!!

Here is what Senator Clinton said in March 2003:

"Hillary Clinton tells Irish TV she is against war with Iraq," Irish Times, February 8, 2003

"Hillary Clinton prefers 'peaceful solution' in Iraq," Associated Press March 3, 2003
"[Clinton said the US] should continue its attempts to build an international alliance rather than going to war quickly with Iraq...nspection is preferable to war, if it works, the New York Democrat said."

Bush did not say inspection was preferable to war in March 2003. Bush said that in September 2002 to get an authorization for war if Inspections, could not be resumed.

Big difference wouldn't you say?
