Obama Fails to Commemorate D-Day

Yesterday was the 69th anniversary of the D-Day invasion and President Obama failed to say anything about it.

There is no released statement on WhiteHouse.gov and nothing on the White House or Barack Obama twitter feeds about the anniversary.

President Obama did not make any public remarks about the anniversary yesterday, either.

However, Obama has taken the time to release a statement about Rep. John Dingell becoming the longest serving member of Congress in U.S. history.

Sorry state of affairs.

Not a peep about on any of the so-called "history" channels, either.

I guess a fat stupid chump behind the counter at a Las Vegas pawn shop is what passes for history these days. :(

Where Eagles Dare is on AMC. I'm fixing to head to the gym and spin for the final hour.

I think we should all be grateful that he didn't make a speech. Just imagine the apology...

And if he does make a statement you would have started a thread about how he is "pandering". Your faux-outrage is not surprising.

Fuck Obama. I'm glad he didn't say anything. I like him better when he's shutting the fuck up

That's appropriate.

Reagan made an eloquent speech at Normandy. Obama tweeted.

Pretty much sums up each one's Presidency, too.

In the 8 years Bush was president he only commemorated D-Day twice. I'm sure you were denouncing him and demanding he be more like Regan too, right?

it is funny. There is no longer the DDay hype there used to be. I recall the Longest Day used to always be on tv, yet it was on over the memorial day weekend.

And the national geographic channel is doing Lincoln tonite. I swear this kenyan muslim marxist socialist is rewriting America's very history.

To be fair, how many black, gay basketball players participated in the Normandy invasion? Why would Obama even care?

Why would Barry mention D Day?? It means nothing to him.

Hell. We are fast approaching the day when all the WWII vets will be gone.

WWII will then be nothing but history just like WWI, the Civil War and any other war we fought.

Not surprising coming from the Commander and Chief that said, without correcting himself, Navy corpse man.

Pathetic.
