obama will give assurances to ISIS that they will not face an American military threat. He will promise them that all they will face is the half trained Iraq army and Kurd peshmurga.
The benefit to American troops is that they won't be on the ground to be murdered by the Iraqis or the Kurds.

During the first Gulf War maybe, but by 2003 their army was about half that size. Try again. As for ISIS until now Obama's opponents were acting like it was the rebirth of the Soviet Union. Got to watch those about-faces. Could get whiplash!
