Just wanted to know what you would consider essential for a kit that would allow you to survive in the wilderness for an indefinite period of time.

Here's my provisional list. This includes only items necessary for survival. It does not take ones comfort into consideration.

A good knife.
A hatchet, or some other tool for chopping wood.
A saw
para-cord
fishing line, hooks
copper wire (for snares)
Some way to purify water, even if it's just a small pot for boiling water.

That's it, so far. Any other essentials I might need?
