Oh look! A token hearing on the security failures at the Capitol on Jan 6th. How cute.

Headed by Democrat Amy Klobuchar, this will be a posturing dog and pony show to check a box. The truth is, the Democrats needed security to be a joke in order for the breach to happen. This is what they wanted as it was their last chance to get Trump.

I am sure those poor guys have PTSD. I heard death by zip tie is DREADFUL

So when are those Democrats going to quit dicking around and actually do something constructive?

If they were working for me, they would have been fired weeks ago.

Exactly so! Had Queen Pelosi and Chuckie Schumer permitted the necessary backup security (National Guard) when they were notified of the need, the breaching of the building would not have happened. The preparations by Antifa, BLM and other paid rioters would have gone for naught. The Democrats WANTED the violence and breaching of the building....to blame it all on Trump.

If you watch all of the videos (rather than just the ones presented on the Lame Stream Media, you'll see Capitol Police officers welcoming the crowd into the building...with unchecked back packs, no route through metal detectors...they even held some doors open for them.

The entire event was PLANNED weeks ahead of time. The Democrat Party leaders were aware of the plan. They WANTED this to happen.

President Trump should have known that anti-Trump demonstrators would infiltrate the crowd of peaceful Trump supporters by disguising themselves as Trump supporters...and start some shit to blame of Trump supporters.

Domestic terrorism:

Former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund described a scene that was “like nothing” he had seen in his 30 years of policing.

“When the group arrived at the perimeter, they did not act like any group of protestors I had ever seen,” the ousted chief said, arguing that the insurrection was not the result of poor planning but of failures across the board from many agencies and officials.

“No single civilian law enforcement agency – and certainly not the USCP – is trained and equipped to repel, without significant military or other law enforcement assistance, an insurrection of thousands of armed, violent, and coordinated individuals focused on breaching a building at all costs,” Sund said.

Not domestic terrorism. Right loon?
Portland rioters barricaded federal law enforcement agents inside a federal courthouse as they tried to set the building ablaze amid ongoing violent protests in the city
Of course, your disingenuous outrage over the great zip tie attack of 2021 has been noted. Multiple times.

"All costs"? It makes it sound like their charged into volley fire.

Hilarious.

True. The years of riots from your side killed dozens and destroyed thousands of businesses and lives.

The small riot on 1/6, was nothing compared to your side's long running RESIST.

I really do have to laugh just how all these faux conservatives that make up the majority of this board support insurrection, vandalism and the attempted over throw of our system of government.

You people aren't "conservative." None of you are.

Pointing out that your pretense that one little riot is worse than 5 years of riots, is not supporting the riot, it is calling you out on your bullshit.
