Only if they pass it again. It will be a new legislative session so this current bill cannot carry over

This is true, but it's a very minor inconvenience. Our state is slowly turning from purple to red. They actually had a SYG bill years ago, except they were going to vote on it just after the Trayvon Martin shooting in Florida, so they just shelved it for a few years. I'm really surprised it took them this long to re-introduce it.
