I don't really need the weatherman to tell me which way the wind blows. I noticed the climate changes 20 years ago, warming summers and less precipitation, what can I say? It's real as death.

Even at the age of 60 you have only seen a warming trend reflective of the warm and active solar cycle which is much larger in time span over 180 years. You have only seen one part of the normal cyclical variation of the earth. We are now returning to the cooling side of the current long term solar cycle.

Typical democrat, relying on their limited information and life span to make dire predictions by simply saying "Ive seen ...." and relying on feelings rather than facts.

I am in my mid fifties. I choose to look long term;

We have seen but a very small fraction of the cycle. 180 years is but one small part of the bigger 860 year cycle. There are essentially three different cycles within the suns operational cycle we can, with current knowledge and evidence, see. The 11-16 year cycle, the 180 year cycle, and the much larger 860 year cycle.

We are currently on the cooling side of all three today and for the next 40-60 years.

You must really think ALL the science is settled and EVERYONE knows what the temperature anomaly will be in 2060 to fractions of a degree.. You must think that the Earth is so fragile --- that according to GW theory, a temperature forcing of just 2 degrees, will IRREPARABLY destroy the climate. You NEED that "cone of silence" .. That's not true.. Same percentage of skeptics in most places. MORE in Russia. Even Australia went thru the last 6 or 8 years doing MAJOR back-ups on GW policy. Heck the Aussie GeoSciences professional group even revolted over that "political" statement the AGeoUnion had been putting out...

Surveys OF climate scientists BY climate scientists show MUCH LESS of a consensus than the crappy skepticalscience survey that didn't even ASK any questions of climate scientists. Go look up von Storch surveys of opinion.. You'll see what REAL ISSUES in Global Warming are still undecided...

NASA/NOAA climate groups are led by ACTIVISTS hiding in labcoats. Put there to get favorable results for predetermined policy.. Ain't no different than packing the IRS with political hacks that can deliver the right results..
