More importantly, they have stolen every financial data too, including every consumer data such as social security numbers and credit files. They can do more damage with selling and scrambling and publishing every individual's personal info. The US is a consumer society. I would pay whatever taxes were necessary. If the communist Chinese can do it, surely "the wealthiest country in the world" can. Also, I was watching a study done with children once. Most of the children, if not all of them, preferred to take less of something they valued. As long as it meant some other child would receive nothing at all.
