Perspective: Gun related murders

According to the FBI, 2012-2017, an average of 9636 people are murder per year with a firearm - 26.4 per day.

On the Monday after the start of daylight Savings, heart attacks jump 24% over the daily average.
The US sees about 790k heart attacks per day, for 2164/day
Of all heart attacks, about 4.7% are fatal - 101.7 per day.
An increase of 24% over that 101 is 24.4/day

Thus:
You are about as likely to die of a heart attack caused by Daylight Savings as you are to be murdered with a firearm.

Conclusion:
We need more gun control!!!!

This fails as a confirmation bias fallacy, false comparison fallacy, and an appeal to consequences fallacy – it’s the rightwing sophistry hat trick, well done!

You cannot show this to be true.
