He sees nothing wrong with taking away Liberty because he comes from a country that does that quite often.

He does not understand that no new law is going to do anything to reduce gun crime because the great majority of gun crime is among Black and Brown street thugs, druggies and gang bangers in Democrat controlled big city shitholes. They don't adhere to the existing gun laws, no less any new ones.
