It will be interesting to see if democrats do the math in the next day or so and realize there are still a majority of sane citizens and thus make a change and vote for the Judge. No doubt republicans will be out in force this November to vote democrats out bigly.

It's over, Kavanaugh will be confirmed. Collins Flake and Manchin are in and Pence is in the wings.

Victory is ours

I am hoping several democrats vote yes to save their election campaigns. Leadership should recognize they need the seats now more than ever, so there should not be any consequences to their yes vote.

Careful with this...never count those chickens until they are hatched, blowing up the process is a liberal science and doing it at the last second is an art form for them.

Nah it's a lock.

Can't you tell by the sound of leftists wails? CNN is already conceding the left has been defeated again

I love that Kavanaugh will be confirmed in a bi-partisan vote, Dem's can't even get a consolation prize.

I expect several more Dems to vote for Kavanaugh. The spectacle of the kangaroo hearing will stay in people's minds for some time, and Senators from Red states will be punished if they don't vote to confirm (or at least abstain).

He will make it by one or two votes then this non story ends. He seems fine. I have zero pity for what he went thru though....and anyone who buys this "it's a bad time to be a male" is goofy. Simply keep your hands off women and all is fine. If you want a high office then simp! y ensure it...or don't apply.

He did keep his hands off women...all of them...to pretend that an accusation is all that's needed is the biggest threat to justice and hopefully the court will now act accordingly in these cases especially the ones where mock indignation is the only evidence of guilt.
