A homeowner 2 houses away from me has stopped talking with his neighbor across the street because they agreed to have a Kamala Harris sign in their front yard.
One of my chess club friends won't play against another (equally skilled) member because he voted for Trump.
I watched a shopper at our local grocery store spit on a car in the parking lot because it had a bumper sticker supporting a local Democratic candidate for State Senate.
My Accountant traded her pick-up truck in for a Volvo station wagon because the truck reminds her of all those "brain dead, red neck, Republicans"
Has all of this gone too far? Yeah, I think so. It reminds me of all those juvenile cliques we experienced in school.
Thoughts?
