Republicans force President Obama into a corner - The Week

Notice what is missing in this piece? No mention o9f the fact that Republicans HAVE agreed that if Obama would just come up with some cuts of his own the Republicans would work with him. No mention at all that Obama and the democrats have REFUSED for 3 years to consider any cuts and only demand more taxes.

No surprises here. The major media outlets have long ago given up all semblance of objectivity and hitched their wagon directly to the democrat party mule team. They don't even need to call themselves "news" networks, because what they spew is anything but news.

Obama and the democrats have not made a single recommendation for any cuts. Obama LIED to the American people during the Debates and his run for reelection when he said we needed cuts and tax increases. And the press has given him a free pass on it.

But he has. Every plan he has given to the house included cuts - as much as 2 to one. Why are Boehner/McConnell suddenly wanting cuts when they haven't wanted any in the past? Boehner has been in congress for 23 years - spend spend spend. McConnell, 29 years and its been spend spend spend.

Obama has been president for FOUR years and he has cut the deficit more than the Rs - More than $300BILLION and he has done it in spite of the house filibustering and fighting him every step of the way.

What the rw's can't seem to remember is that it is the Rs who want to spend more - For example, $4 trillion in ADDITIONAL military spending to build 15 warships every year.
