Video here of a guy driving towards the incinerator...
It happened for two days, and they suspect it comes from iodine in the trash...
"Ecomaine says they burn 170,000 tons of trash a year, and in a virtual tour video on their website, ecomaine says with the exception of car batteries, large appliances, fluorescents or other items they can't or shouldn't burn, ecomaine burns almost anything that comes into their facility
Ecomaine says this incident should serve as a reminder to making sure your trash is disposed of properly."
Can you imagine all the other stuff that gets burned?
They treat it as "renewable energy" and classify it as biomass....
