he needs a safe space

..........and our "beloved" orange-in-chief just provided the proof.

Disclosing classified intelligence to our arch-enemy, Russia, may seem perfectly legitimate to right wingers since the president can (according to them) do ANYTHING he wants....and as Nixon famously once stated, "if the president does something, it CANNOT, de facto, be called illegal.."

Trump's low self esteem and narcissistic tendencies need constant approval, and to show off to the Russians that he is privy to the most sensitive info., compelled this idiot to share intelligence that WILL (most likely) place individual spies at risk AND also cause for such intelligence to stop flowing to the WH since we have a moron with a big mouth in charge.

Whether Trump knows it or not, he IS colluding with Russian spies and if ever proof was needed, Trump voluntarily has provided such proof.

So previous Presidents never shared intelligence with other countries, Russia in particular?

Do you hear yourself?

We have American astronauts living with Russian cosmonauts in a Russian built space station sharing classified information every freaking day and all of a sudden it's politically convenient for the left to call Russia our "arch enemy". The truth is that there are no details of alleged "classified information" shared with Russia by the President. The whole thing is built on speculation from (again) unverified and unidentified sources. Another inconvenient truth is that there are no secrets left and the President gets to share any information he cares to do. As Krauthammer says "it's pure opportunism and we have no idea of the gravity or the details".

There's much more to declassifying rather than just saying, hey Comrade you know what?

I don't even have to read what the Putin lovers here say - they're going to continue to twist themselves into pretzels to excuse the orange Buffon.

Every time rump's people defend him, he calls them liars with his stupid tweets. McMaster did his little dance last night, didn't even refer to what really did and rump threw him under the bus the morning.

All the trumpkins need to consider this: Putin's BFF aka prez of the US sent not going to suddenly grow up and shut up.

No, other presidents did not share highly classified information with hostile foreign governments.

How does anything that happened last week prove that trump colluded with Russia in some unknown illegal activity to deny Hillary the white house?

Can the President of the United States pass an executive order declassifying all classified information by the CIA, or would it be too controversial? - Quora

With the exception of certain information the disclosure of which is prohibited by statute (mainly the Atomic Energy Act, which makes certain information about nuclear weapons statutory secrets), the President is the final arbiter of what is and is not subject to classification. The entire classification scheme is due (except for the aforementioned nuclear secrets protected by the AEA) to a series of executive orders by the President, and has no statutory basis whatsoever. Since it's created based on the power of the President, it can also be torn down by that same power.

Thus, if the President so chose, the President could declassify every single classified document, other than those classified pursuant to the AEA. However, some of them would still be subject to restrictions from release due to other statutory restrictions. For example, there is a statute (the Intelligence Identities Protection Act of 1982) that prohibits the dissemination or propagation of information for the purpose of attempting to determine the identity of a US foreign agent. The President doesn't have the authority to set aside the IIPA, and so such documents might still have to be withheld or redacted, even if declassified, in order to satisfy the statutory obligations of this law. In general, the Freedom of Information Act doesn't make every unclassified document available for public inspection. Even the complete dismantling of the document classification system currently in use would not directly and immediately lead to the public release of every document held by the government, as some have suggested.

Sure he did, an "anonymous" source said so.
