She comitted suicide...there is no question about that...where all the controvesy came in was the fact she was arrested and taken to jail for a minor infraction....but if one watches the video you will understand how that came abouit...........anyhow what this case illustrates is the willingness of some communities to pay up rather than have to deal with a federal investigation and possible imposition of federal control...so they pay the piper to get the snake off their back.

.The sweet irony is, this won't enrich them at all. Much of it will go to attorney fees, then comes state and federal taxation, leaving them with 6 figures. Because they're not people accustomed to the growing and protecting of wealth, they'll burn through that like a kilo of coke. There's a reason some people have money and others don't, and those who don't, even when you give them money, they can't hold on to it.
