To democrats all republicans are ignorant partisan hacks. Extreme liberals calling themselves republicans get a pass. Like Jon Huntsman. They get a pass because republicans are going to reject them anyway. Those are the safe republicans.

I have never liked Ron Paul. He's a lunatic and always was. Rand Paul is not his father. He cuts through the BS in no uncertain terms. He is not afraid of democrats and would not tolerate the treatment democrats give to republicans. If Dr. Paul can bring in his fathers supporters he could be our next president.

While I agree with your first part, Rand is near identical to his farther on policy... As I mentioned before, most Republicans hated Ron because he showed the Republican party for what it was, liberal lite. Many Republicans love Rand because in some quasi weird way they can still hate Ron and call him names but near fully support his son who happens to have near all the same positions as his father.

There is no dramatic difference between Ron and Rand on policy. Rand is by far more well spoken, and his record is much smaller than his fathers, that's about it. Feel free to disagree, but when you can show the list of policy where Rand is right and Ron is crazy, maybe then I'll listen.
