Ray Epps' lawyer demands Tucker Carlson retract false claim that he was FBI agent on Jan. 6

Tucker Carlson, the bow-tied mouthpiece for the Republican Party, has been hit with a formal demand for an on-air apology after he falsely claimed that Ray Epps, a man who was seen on video encouraging people to enter the Capitol on January 6, was an FBI agent.

Epps' lawyer, John Pierce, sent Carlson a letter demanding that he retract his false statements and apologize to Epps. Pierce said that Carlson's claims have caused Epps to be harassed and threatened, and that they have damaged his reputation.

Carlson has not yet responded to Pierce's letter. The article also states that Epps has denied being an FBI agent, and that the FBI has said that he was not an agent.

Carlson's claims about Epps are false and defamatory. He should retract them and apologize to Epps, but he won't because he's a lying, sniveling, cowardly little worm who would rather spread lies and hate than admit when he's wrong.

Epps needs to sue Tucker and prove that he wasn't working with the FBI!

Then Epps needs to sue the hell out of him, huh? Let him. If he doesn't, that tells a story all its own.
What do you think this letter from Epps' lawyer to Tucker is about? This is a prelude to suing Tucker.

Actually, I hope Tucker does not apologize and Epp takes him for everything he's got.

but I know quite well how agent provocateurs work.
Yes, indeed. Considering the FBI used geo-fencing to vacuum up HUNDREDS of people who whose only "offense" was having a cell phone pinging within a defined area that day, it's more than a little odd that a guy who is on camera exhorting people to go into the Capitol, isn't touched at all. The loudmouth Lefties here just ignore that like it should be unworthy of even asking questions about. Imagine if THEY had the power to imprison you, or worse. Just imagine that...

If Carlson actually accused him of being an informant and he doesn't have any evidence to back it up, he's an idiot and deserves to be sued. OTH, this lawyer's declaration doesn't sound like he's ready to file anything just yet. Considering the situation at Fox with respect to the Dominion case, you'd think Epp's attorney would have simply jumped on the bandwagon and filed it already.

The guy is on video at the Capitol that day, cheering people on and LOUDLY exhorting them to go into the Capitol. He hasn't been charged with ANYTHING. Not even trespassing. What he did was FAR worse than Buffalo man. You don't find that situation the least bit odd?

I don't need to imagjne abuse of power, I've lived it for 30+ years. America has been following our lead more and more for years. You should fully expect economic failures as we are experiencing and it isnt relegated to "the left" I assure you...

So if he wasn't an FBI agent, do you feel that he should be in prison right now, with everyone else they arrested?

For what crime? Yelling in the First Degree? He didn't even enter the Capitol.

That's not how it works. You first demand an on-air apology. When that fails, you then sue.

That's the route Dominion took. If Tucker does not apologize (and I am pretty sure he will), this goes to court.

When does Cater Page and George Papadopoulos get their apologies from to many liberal mouthpieces to name who said they were Russian spies?

Also did Tucker call Epps an FBI agent or an informant? Why doesn't Epps go on Tuckers show instead of hiding behind his lawyer?

These are fair questions and points. I wish I had been following this situation because it sounds critical to democracy in one form or another.

Well geez dude -- I explained this to you about a year ago. Remember when the FBI was brought before Congress and the Congress critters kept asking them to account for any and ALL FBI members that were mixed into the crowds on Jan 6th? And how they never got a REAL ANSWER to that?

Ray Epps had done this kind of thing before. He's was TRAINED to exhort crowds and drive public riots,. Wasn't his first rodeo. Was all OVER that crowd and photographed over 2 days directing people at six or more locations (including the final barricade at the Capitol)---- to go to the Capital and get inside.

Congress critters just asked the wrong question. And Epps is trolling about the apology.

WHY? Because he was probably BORROWED from CIA "retired specialists" lists or maybe even Def Intelligence Agency. THOSE people send the operative to the countries where WE want to meddle in their political decisions, AND it gives the FBI a complete "innocence" defense about intel operations to infiltrate the crowd on that day. Nobody to my knowledge has ever asked him about being a "free-lancer" for OTHER US Intel groups like the CIA or DIA. Especially the phony as hit Jan 6th inquisition.

In my life experience, after the famed Church commission SAVED us (temporarily) from the CLEAR DANGER of living under Fed govt domestic spying and surveillance -- NO US intel capabilities were allowed domestic spying ops other than the FBI.

NOT TRUE TODAY. The CIA is embedded INSIDE the FBI with cushy offices and chairs. 9-11 and the Worlds Greatest Spy Machine from NSA CHANGED that game. Domestic spying and even domestic intel operations are now all the rage.

So tell the mental midgets in Congress to ask SMARTER questions about Ray Epps. Same goes for morons in the media.

If they had anything they would have filed a suit. They obviously don't have shit and they're in fuck around and find out mode.

This will end up in the same dumpster as that knuckledragger from manhattan.... omg that affirmative action fatfuck has turned out to be a humiliation of biblical proportions.... is slavery legal again? :laughing0301: :laughing0301:

Funny about that 'geofencing' since that is what much of '2000 Mules' evidence was based on. The left, MSM, whatever, scoffed at geofencing then, but when used by the State is a refined technique.
