I don't necessarily see it aspessimism. I'll admit it's a little frightening but AI is the obvious next step and social evolution and it's not going to be denied.

Anything is possible. I certainly don't have a crystal ball.

AI is unlike anything that has come before it however..... The electronics age laid down the foundation and computers and cell phones followed.... AI isn't following particularly but it's the birth of something that is a product of our progress more than it is a tool of our progress.
