Been watching clips of S and brings back memories of such a classic show
The acting was utterly superb

Had a great run
I am sure some of you saw it

I enjoyed it

Loved the Sopranos, my all time favorite serious after Peaky Blinders. Disappointed the movie is getting bad reviews.

Watched it for the third time last winter when I was in bed recovering from 2 surgeries. I also watched The Wire for the third time, and I consider it as good or maybe even better than the Sopranos.

NoNukes

I like how many episodes were just stand alone
The series was the first to make the protagonist an evil guy .
I also enjoyed the many animal symbolisms and the psychology of Tony
Many things in the episodes were not always neat and tidy
The show felt very reality

The new Soprano movie that HBO put out last week sucks donkey dicks.

Mostly about Negroes. Poor story line, boring and discombobulated.

I'm saying that as someone who loved the original series.

I was hoping for much better than what I saw.

I recently re-watched the last few episodes of the series.

It was AJ's girlfriend Rhiannon that set up Tony for the assassination. She was a model that the New York boys hired to get close to Jr. She heard Carmela say that everybody was going meet at the Holsten diner. That is how they knew he was going to be there.

Apparently James Gandolfini, who played Tony Soprano, went nuts or was kidnapped or went nuts and was kidnapped while they were filming one of the closing episodes. Was he partying with the real hoods and it was too much for the actor when he turned up someplace in Brooklyn? He wasn't talking. Gandolfini died on a trip to Italy and that wasn't fully explained either.
