First of all Brady didn't "take one" for the President. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Second, I don't think anyone is trying to take anyone's gun because of the Brady bill. I am not sure what the problem is with background checks? I realize they more then likely would not stop all the shootings but maybe one is enough. The real idiot in the scenario is Hinckley. HE is the one that did damage to gun owners not Brady.
