Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) is the U.S. Congressman named in Monday's FBI affidavit against Russian national Maria Butina, which alleges Rohrabacher was part of a 2015 delegation that traveled to Moscow and planned to meet with a Russian official widely believed to be Alexander Torshin, reports The Daily Beast.

Why it matters: Torshin, who has been described as a "godfather" in a Russian organized crime syndicate, has been under FBI investigation for potentially funneling money through the NRA to help President Trump win the 2016 election. The notoriously pro-Russia Rohrabacher did not deny being the congressman referenced in the document, but said that the charge against Maria Butina is "bogus," according to Politico...

Dana Robachester is one of the very few Congressmen who is NOT a Deep State puppet. Americans should be proud of him.

Hopefully the people of his district will vote him out come November.

Why was there a delegation from this country to meet with Russians in Moscow? Isn't that treason like it is with Trump?

He's just another Russian asset!

Wonder if he is the unnamed Congressman that reached out to the Russian govt operative to get his opponent's stolen emails, that was mentioned in Friday's indictment?

Why was there a delegation from this country to meet with Russians in Moscow? Isn't that treason like it is with Trump?
DEPENDS on what they were they for. OR if the DELEGATION WAS GIVEN MONEY or did PERSONAL DEALS with THEM WITHOUT DISCLOSURE.

See how it works now?

She was trying to establish a gun rights group in Russia. That doesn't exactly sound pro Kremlin.

As disgusting as it sounds, it looks like democrats are determined to out those in Russia who believe in our freedoms.

There are no gun rights in Russia....and never will be as long as Putin is there....she knows it, her boss who reports to Putin knows it, and there is no movement in Russia to support gun rights.... it is a FAKE movement....

It was a means to launder her boss's Russian money in to the NRA...so they could support campaigns of Trump supporting Republicans, and Trump.
