Sad way to be proven wrong.

Media claimed 2.2 million deaths when coronavirus started.

That number was arrived at by the scientist. It's their estimation if nothing was done and we let the disease run it's course.

They had MERS and/or SARs vaccines ready for testing in 2016 but neither side gave a rats ass about it at that time, and funding was dropped. Hopefully the time for a vaccine will be short.
An estimate is a guess.

A coin toss is a guess. The worst you can call their estimate is an intelligent guess. The point is that the media didn't just pull it out of their ass.
A coin toss has a statistical outcome if one gathers the data and graphs it. The left-lamestream-media was claiming that Trump called the virus a hoax and they pulled that directly out their ass. Prove me wrong and provide a quote where Trump called Coronavirus itself a hoax.

Nope it's 50/50 on every toss.

The 2.2 million number was not established by a coin toss. Obviously Trump called the Democrats criticism and their statements about the new virus, and his response, their new "Hoax". Was it? Were their fears about it spreading across the country a Hoax? Were their worries about possible shortages of supplies a Hoax?
More disinformation no, a coin toss is NOT 50/50.

"Like the coin toss, for example. Most people assume the toss of a coin is always a 50/50 probability, with a 50 percent chance it lands on heads, and a 50 percent chance it lands on tails. Not so, says Diaconis. And, like a good mathematician, he’s proven it."

When did Trump say people's fears were a hoax? Look, a few of the Washington press were asking 'gotcha' questions presuming that Trump was not taking this pandemic seriously. He called them on it. Then the stories came out that Trump called the virus a hoax. He nailed dishonest reporters and they didn't like it. They are not used to being challenged for their biases.

Most sane people realize that the Coronavirus is not Trump's fault and he never called the virus a hoax.

Yes most people only blame Trump for his own words about the virus. Any fool knows that you can't blame an emerging new virus on a specific person or people.

BTW where is the quote I asked you for?

Since I never claimed he call the virus itself a hoax, why? He bellows "Hoax" at the drop of a hat.
So Trump never said the virus was a hoax. Thank you.

So what 'words' did Trump specifically say about the virus that 'most people' blame him for? So what's the problem? We have been throught the RUSSIA hoax, the phone call hoax, the impeachment hoax and now the media hoax that Trump called Covid a hoax. I see no problem with him calling all that shit a hoax.

"Hoax" is his go to word, his amalgam for politics they play in DC. All the bad people who say things he doesn't like.

From his Charleston Rally:

"Think of it. Think of it. And this is their new hoax. But we did something that’s been pretty amazing. We have 15 people in this massive country and because of the fact that we went early. We went early, we could have had a lot more than that. We’re doing great. Our country is doing so great. We are so unified. We are so unified. The Republican party has never ever been unified like it is now. "

I agree with the Trumpybear. Hate has unified whats left of the former GOP.

Party over all.

You guys live off of the talk and not the walk. You accuse him of stuff that the political class has done for decades and longer. He was elected as a warning. And you are still not listening. We can not live as a nation of extremes and think that is normal and freedom. Look how fast the fascism has started on this pandemic.

Yes 'hoax' is a great word to describe DC's TDS affliction. It's a great 'go to' word and Trump uses it appropriately.

He accused the Democrat of politicizing the Corona-virus. When pressed about exactly what that means, the right never answers. He played down the possible effects the experts were predicting until mid March.

Hahaha. "Hoax" is a great word to describe how the Charlatan in Chief pulled the wool over eyes of the former Republicans to make them subservient Banana Republicans.

Trump called the negative press coverage a hoax. He didn't call the virus a hoax. That is fake news.

Let's look at your logic here. Trump called coverage warning us that our lack of preparedness a "hoax". Turns out that coverage was spot on, our lack of preparedness has cost us deeply. We'll probably be at 20K dead by the end of the week at current rates.

The media was right and Trump was wrong.

"Spot on" ? Lol !!!
There were countless news outlets just a couple of months ago that were telling us the seasonal flu was deadlier than Coronavirus.

Even the WHO in mid-January (remember January, that month where your side was distracting the world with your impeachment circus?) was saying there was no evidence of human to human transmission !

Karen Kolb Sehlke is the Texas woman who called the COVID-19 a hoax.

Her actual words were:

"Wake up!!! This is what the beginning of socialism looks like!

They are leading with fear causing you to panic like sheep.

… You don’t need hand sanitizer, toilet paper, and Lysol. You need common sense, a sense of direction, faith, a will to fight, and of course guns!

Now wash your hands and live the life they don’t want you to have!"

Karen Kolb Sehlke died 4/2/2020 due to complications from the COVID19 virus.
It is a shame she died. And I feel for her family and loved ones. But willful ignorance can be dangerous.
The sources are so Leftist it hurts. Tragic this is but her POV was due to skepticism and distrust of our current media so she didn’t take this seriously and it killed her. Shame on our media.

so she didn’t take this seriously and it killed her
What specifically did she actually DO that led to her death?

Do you believe everyone who died was "due to not taking it seriously"?
I would surmise she did not social distance and wash her hands frequently. Just a guess on my part.
"Just a guess."

There are many ways to catch the flu or a cold or this virus. Simply walking thru the space someone else has BEEN is one way.

Why go out of your way to blame someone for something they really have no control over.

We DONT KNOW.

I wonder how many people she spread the virus to.

I hope everyone she came into contact with is ok.

My condolences to her family. It sucks when your parent dies.

Disjointed and vacuous post^^

Heh. You are wrong.

Media claimed 2.2 million deaths when coronavirus started. Even Dr. Fauci has lowered his numbers to 100,000 - 200,000 deaths in the US. Your beloved CNN has lowered it further to 80,000.

Wow, you guys really think that if we limit this to 80K deaths (because of the sensible measures adopted by Democratic Governors) you have "won" something?

Here's the thing. There's a big difference between estimates and real dead people. When Bush was pushing his War for A Lie in Iraq, people estimated that we'd have 10,000 dead soldiers taking just Baghdad. Turns out that didn't happen, but when actual guys started coming home in body bags, a few every week, people turned against the war.

Same thing here. Trump's approval on handling Covid-19 started at pretty high numbers in a rally around the flag, but it's dropped into negative numbers.

When we are at 80K dead and 20 million unemployed, Trump is going to be less popular than Covid19.

Yes, Fox and Hate Radio... what is your point?

Even the WHO in mid-January (remember January, that month where your side was distracting the world with your impeachment circus?) was saying there was no evidence of human to human transmission !

Wow, it will be fun to watch you guys blame WHO, CDC and everyone but Trump for fucking this up.

But Trump fucked it up.
