Authorities say Marquez has told the FBI that he and Farook talked about conducting some kind of attack in 2010 but called it off after unrelated terrorism arrests in southern California.

I'd heard the "unrelated" arrests in California was a radical recruiter that Farook had been in contact with, but somehow the FBI decided /not/ to investigate Farook's connection to them... That's pretty bad if you ask me. I mean... if you're talking to a recruiter ... I think the gov dropped the ball here and rather than just admit it and fix the problem they're trying to sweep it under the rug so they can continue with "business as usual" despite the clear threat.

I find it irresponsible.
