In the end, I guess Nadler gets the last laugh in the work dispute. Schiff owns this loss.

Schiff owned the House Process. Another horrible loss. Denying Trump due process and any semblance of fairness while operating in secrecy, ensured that witnesses wouldn't be called in the Senate. Even if they were, the Senate had no stomach for indicting Trump, after this and the Kavanaugh Hearing. The House members would have revolted for not getting support from the senate if they had found him guilty after what they dealt with.

If you want to get people on your side, you don't abuse their basic rights or process. Trump wisely didn't fire Mueller or even Rosenstein during the Russian Investigation. He patiently and unhappily let it runs it horrible course and I'm sure many tried to egg him into making a mistake. He didn't.

So, compare his transparency and decision to let the process go fairly, compared to the House process. Trump is gaining support and sympathy. Truly amazing. All of this resistance for putting America First? It was never going to work if Trump succeeded.
