I don't think that they have Texas or Wyoming. Also, one might look at where they are compared to where a lot of the US is in relation to solar. Just saying.

Well, Germany can pay higher prices for renewables, or lower prices, but be in thrall to Russia. And Germany does seem to be doing quite well economically, even paying those higher prices.
