Anyone that lives in a rural area is aware of snakes that lay on the pavement at night in early spring. That is because of the heat that has been absorbed from the sun during the day. As the earth builds more and more cities, roads and concrete one would have to believe that this heat would raise some temperatures if ever so slightly. I have never heard of a scientist even mentioning this as a possible cause of the temperature rising on earth. Maybe it is just too simple of an answer for them to accept.

The Sun is what heats the Earth. Most greenhouse gases are water-vapor.

The Earth is mostly covered with water. Try paving the oceans.
