Secede Now!!! If Don re-elected and Ruthie goes...

It could happen. Calexit! Break up the whole damn thing. It’s time. Why continue this ridiculously corrupt and criminal government?

Imagine this...though the columnist ends with it won’t happen. Who knows?

In Buckley’s view, a Trump reelection combined with Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death might trigger a Calexit movement by aggrieved Californians (a state where Hillary won by 4.3 million votes, while she lost by 1.5 million in the other 49 states) enraged at having to share a country with Trump voters.

Or perhaps the deplorables, offended by the Democrats’ smug “that’s not who we are” rhetoric, will call a new Constitutional Convention (which would require only 34 state legislatures) at which who knows what might happen… The last one, in 1787, tore up the existing Articles of Confederation and invented a federal system.

And would the U.S. breaking into two or more chunks be so bad? Buckley writes:

We’re overly big, one of the biggest countries in the world. Smaller countries are happier and less corrupt. They’re less inclined to throw their weight around militarily, and they’re freer. If there are advantages to bigness, the costs exceed the benefits. Bigness is badness.

Mexifornia has completely gone rogue....the disgusting shithole has been in a transitional state for a decade as it has chosen to become North Mexico.
The Feds should have taken EXTREME, aggressive action against the shithole years ago...I’m sure they would have had the crazy shit not happened on the Kenyan’s watch.
You’re an idiot. Stop consuming right wing propaganda.

I spent several months last year traveling throughout California. It’s our most beautiful state by far. Nearly all the people there are like the rest of the country. Good people.

haha...You're sadly mistaken. I live here bud...born and raised. It's North Mexico with the same people you'll find in Tijuana. I've watched it...as the populous has darkened the level of shihole has increased...Weird huh...who would have thought that brown people = automatic shithole?

Western California doesn't grow the food. Its grown in Eastern Republican California. :muahaha: Good luck growing food on the streets of San Francisco. Eastern California will break away from those loons on the coast.

The rest of the nation will not use California's ports. The rest of the nation will close all the military bases. That is a lot of money. Less federal taxes or not. You are talking jobs there. and the creation of jobs from the jobs from the jobs. That is to start. California was the spot. Now it is just a destination.

California is the economic engine that is driving this nation forward. Why can't some taker state like Alabama, Mississippi or Arkansas secede...OH WAIT!

All they need to do is give states back their power that the Progressives stole at the turn of the 20th century.

That way states can run their own health care and determine their own policies for abortion, etc.

All the US needs is a return to Federalism.

Let liberal states be liberal and conservative states be conservative, either that or have half the country want to secede every Presidential election.

But the biggest obstacle for this will be Leftists who are militant, self righteous, and malignant as they won't stop until they have full power over the entire globe, much like their national socialist brethren in Germany long ago.
