If you buy a decent quality bike at a bicycle shop, road bikes (10 speed bikes to non cyclists) generally run from 30 lbs (cheaper bike) all the way down to the lightest I've seen so far, which is 15 lbs (and around 15,000). My Lemond Zurich, while it is a steel tubed frame, manages to come in at a decent 21 lbs total.
