Comey (like him or not) has just asserted that there is classified information on Session's, Flynn's and others' lying to law enforcement officials and the vetting processes. rather than (under oath) stating that the Steele's dossier was"fake" and that Session (and several others) were in the clear, Comey chose to respond to congressional questions in close-door sessions.

With ALL that is happening, right wingers on here are STILL stating that the entire investigative processes either don't really exist or are worthless......Interesting.....

What's hilarious is that this investigation will inevitably lead to evidence of Trump wrong-doing and cons on here will just call it "fake news" no matter what it is. Now they call Comey's single quote about Trump not personally being investigated by the FBI a month ago a total vindication of Trump going forward. They can't at all be objective about this.

It's funny that before this election had Hillary losing dems were demanding we accept the integrity of the process. Second she loses suddenly the Russians hacked the election. Maybe pop-culture educated lefties spend too much time watching crime shows on T.V. but the truth of the matter is that federal probes (with subpoena power) are not in themselves evidence of wrongdoing. It's just politics as usual. Obama's A.G. was charged with contempt of congress for refusing to testify about the botched Operation Fast/Furious. I recall when democrats, flushed with victory halfway into Bush's 2nd term, decided to launch a congressional investigation into steroid use in baseball. After millions of dollars of wasted time they netted some poor Hall of Famer and the investigation went dry. The left's case (if they ever had one) fell apart when the principal witness, Comey, stated that the President elect was never suspected of wrongdoing nor was he under investigation for allegedly conspiring with the Russians. The ironic thing is that Comey himself might face indictment for releasing information to the media.

1. LWers claimed there was nothing there during Obama's 8 years, and that it was all a witch hunt. Sure looked to me like there was indeed a lot of 'there' there, but they squashed it and buried it and the MSM let them get away with it. Funny how it all changes when the shoe is on the other foot.

2. Actually, nothing has been proven or unproven either way. Your side chooses to believe the worst about Trump just like my side believed and still believes the worst about Obama.
