I wonder how many of those unarmed were reaching for what could have been a weapon, or occurred in the darkness of night?
It is so easy to say 1 is too much, which it is, but it seems it is harder to say, don't resist, you most likely won't be shot, which would help bring that number of 76 way down.

Of course noone is stating to ignore bad cops, but noone is stating to those stopped, or involved in a crime, to not resist when approached. That would go alot further than massive protests for something that is statistically insignificant, and which damages the credibility of the 99.% of good cops out there. It increases the chance one will resist out of fear of something that is statistacally of little consequence, because they have been lead to believe otherwise.

And you lose all credibility when you write something as repulsive as your last line.

About 0.005% of cops will encounter the 1 criminal trying to wrestle his/her gun away....or be getting his/her skull bashed in by a large strong man. THOSE cops may shoot.
