He’s just ignorant and frightened, as are many on the right.

He sees people such as transsexuals engaging in free expression, exploring their individuality, and trying to find their place in the world. And as they explore aspects of their personal liberty absent disapproval from some in society, he incorrectly infers that society as a whole is ‘losing morals and values,’ when in fact the opposite is true, where our Nation’s most cherished values are being celebrated: that of free individuals living their lives as they see fit free from government interference.
