So Far.2010 VS 2018.Trump Makes Obama Seem So Minuscule Comparing DOW And Economic Statistics.

:2up: And who's economy would you rather be living in now? Just go back to late 2009 going into the spring of 2010. The DOW hovering around 10,000, and took till early October 2010 to finally hit 11,000.
There was barely an economy. Unemployment was so high. But we all know how bad things were in 2010, no need to give you any statistics.
Looks like us Trump Supporters have won this battle by 15,000 points !!!:woohoo:
Trump: Jan. 12, 2018,,,25,800
Obama. Jan. 12. 2010...:laugh2:  :laugh2:
Be sure to let us know when the Dow has climbed 300 percent like it did during Obama's regime, mm-kay?

And dumbshit? The Dow has not climbed 15,000 points since Trump took office.
You do realize that you've already lost this argument when you're trying to hide behind convoluted stats?

MAGA BABY!
2010 SUCKED! how can a measily 10,000 DOW be a sign of success? LOL
Trump says he is going to Make America Great Again.

Back when America was great before, where was the Dow?
Far below Trump's. It took Obama 8 years to generate the the increase in the wealth of the country it has taken Trump in one.

I know that education and history are not strong points for Trump zealots, but you do remember we were in the middle of the worst recession since the 20s and it was a recession that started 11 months before the election even.

When history is finally penned to paper, Obama's piss-poor economic policies will be remembered as with FDR, whose failed polices also prolonged the Great depression by 7 years.

That is certainly possible, but it does not change the fact it is stupid to compare 2010 to 2018. I think it is telling that you Trump zealots have to stoop to such stupidity in an effort to make Trump look good.

There are some seriously innumerate retarded hacks in this topic.

Honestly, we don't really have to do much of anything to make Trump's successful policies look good. The results of his economic policies speak volumes about his ability to lead this country out of the sewer it became after two terms of the Chocolate Messiah Marxist Wanna-Be.

Yet here we are in one of a 1000 threads on this forum alone making stupid comparison in some vain attempt to make Trump look better. If you don't need to, why keep doing it?

All of the important Dow milestones in one chart

The Dow:

Obama 2008 - 2016, from 14000 to 18000, +4000 points in 8 years

Trump Nov. 2017 -Jan. 2018 from 18000 20 +25000 + 7000 points in less than a year

The Dow has made history, yet again, to start off the new year.

Just 23 sessions after hitting 24,000, the Dow Jones Industrial AverageDJIA, +0.89% on Thursday closed above the 25,000 level. That’s the fastest 1,000-point advance in the index’s history — by one trading session.

The Dow hit five of these psychologically important 1,000-point milestones in 2017, representing the largest number of such milestones within a calendar year in the benchmark’s 120-plus-year history, according to the WSJ Market Data Group. The Dow notched 71 record closes last year and, yes, that was a record, topping the 69 record closes that occurred over 1995.

Milestones are just numbers, but they provide an opportunity to reflect, take stock and consider history. To that end, below is a visual history of the Dow and its important milestones, in one cha
rt.

Investors are making money again and the people are buying cars, appliances and are euphoric again.

No, After 8 years Obama finally got on first and Trump loaded the bases and broguht them all home.

Compare a low OBP guy with a slugger, a singles hitter with a slugger.

That's it.

Typical of establishment spending the money was pissed away on stupid shit.

We're never going to know what Obama would have done, or how well he would have done, under normal circumstances. Better or worse.

The fact is, he took over during the most complicated and wide-reaching financial catastrophe in our lifetimes, more complicated than 1929 because of the far more symbiotic nature of international markets and economies and the complexities of the financial instruments that caused the problem.

So, this is just noise. Partisan catnip.
.

How did he do under the circumstances that he was faced with?

Terrible?
Bad?
Good?
Great?
