There are a couple of crimes I've never understood: vandalism and abuse against the vulnerable. Abuse against kids is far worse than vandalism, but both defy the way a brain naturally works. Most folks, don't really have much time to critically investigate the background of candidates.

The real question should be. . . Who the hell funded this candidate?

Just like that George Santos fellow. . . the whole point here, is to follow the money. It is the candidate, and the interest groups that promote them, which will determine how the public votes. If you know where the money came from, you will know how they got in office.

So far, the media has howled with rage over Santos, and has looked into the money trail.
