Maybe, but his prosecutors were caught in various forms of hanky panky.

Just the Cavanaugh hearings you focused on eh (the procedures were being disrupted within and without), so why the excuses ? Explain away the rest of it all going back 4+ years now. This I gotta hear.
Yes, explain what procedure were being interrupted for 8 hours that sent congressmen hiding under desks and behind lock doors while armed insurgents occupied the capitol that resulted in 3 deaths and 140 injuries. I would like hear about that.

Apples and oranges yes, but the results still fall under the illegal acts of disruptive activities that hinder the operations of government whether it be held up by lying, scheming, banging on door's, mega phones, hollering, and other such nonsense in the attempts to hinder or stop the process of government for the purpose of rebellion in which has no basis in truth when doing so.

I would like to hear about these 'armed insurgents' who occupied the capitol. Only people packing, I am aware of was Capitol Police.

Notice there was a photographer conveniently on scene to record (for posterity) all the trauma these members endured?

I suppose they keep a photographer sitting around, just in case armed insurgents happen to attack the capitol on any given day.

That doesn't explain the ear piece on 1/6. I am thinking our corrupt Pelosi FBI recruited small street dealers etc to instigate.
Uh huh. As if I can’t order an earpiece online. Tactical gear was everywhere. There is nothing that suggests FBI involvement other than the whispers of your damaged lobes bouncing around in your empty head.

The Oath Keepers, for their part, acted in an audaciously open, disciplined and military fashion as they allegedly attacked the heart and symbol of our democratic government. At about 2:39 p.m. that day, when about 14 of them allegedly helped force open the building’s Eastern doors near the Capitol Rotunda, they were decked out in full tactical gear, wearing hard-knuckled gloves, tactical vests or “plate carriers,” camo helmets, ballistic goggles, radios with earpieces, gaiters and boots. Certain individuals allegedly carried bear spray or a coil of paracord. The spectacle of at least 12 Oath Keepers maneuvering up the Capitol steps in “stack formation”—each holding the shoulder of the cadre in front of him or her—became an indelible symbol of the insurrection. It was consistent with Rhodes’ repeated, months-long predictions of an imminent “bloody, bloody civil-war.”

apparently you do not know the legal definition of 'armed'

<ahem>

Armed Law and Legal Definition

Armed means furnished with weapons of offense or defense; furnished with the means of security or protection. In short it means carrying a weapon. For example the bank robber was armed with a shot gun. It can also mean involving the use of weapons. For example terrorists abandoned the armed struggle.
In Buchannon v. State, 554 So. 2d 494, 495 (Ala. 1989) the court held that “In the context of substantive criminal statutes, most courts have concluded that "armed" means having a weapon that is within a person's immediate control and available for his use.

Weapon Law and Legal Definition

A weapon is defined under various federal, state, and local laws, which vary by jurisdiction. A weapon is generally something used to injure, defeat, or destroy and may cover many types of instruments, such as a blackjack, slingshot, billy, metal knuckles, dagger, knife, pistol, revolver, or any other firearm, razor with an unguarded blade, and any metal pipe or bar used or intended to be used in a club, among others.
The following is an example of a municipal definition of a dangerous weapon:
"Section 13.68.010 Dangerous weapon--Defined.
As used in this chapter, "dangerous weapon" means and includes, but is not limited to:
  1. Any knife having a blade three inches or more in length, or any snap-blade or spring-blade knife regardless of the length of the blade;
  2. Any ice pick or similar sharp stabbing tool;
  3. Any straight edge razor or any razor blade fitted to a handle;
  4. Any cutting, stabbing or bludgeoning weapon or device capable of inflicting grievous bodily harm;
  5. Any dirk or dagger or bludgeon;
  6. Any "taser public defender" or other similar electronic immobilizer which causes, by means of an electrical current, a person to experience muscle spasms and extreme pain, followed by unconsciousness. (Ord. 4814-NS § 1, 1975: Ord. 2881-NS § 1, 1947)"

Stun guns, 'stinger whips' and a crossbow: What police found on the Capitol protesters

In all, police recovered a dozen guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition from seven people who were arrested before and after the Capitol riot.

Well I have to thank you for the clarification over two terms. Thankfully, you were able to provide concise insight into what was reported at the riot.

Congress is highly restrictive of photojournalists access to the chamber, like maybe twice a year. It is one hell of a coincidence that one of those days just happened to be during a riot gone bad, featuring AP photojournalists on scene to catch all the 'carnage'.

Coincidence seemingly as noteworthy as a CNN camera crew just happening to be drinking coffee in a van that just happened to be outside of Roger Stone's home at something like 6 am, when, lo' and behold, a FBI team showed up. Damn....

One has to wonder why Pelosi will not let any part of their campaign fund raising January 6th Press-a-thon inquisition to include her response and actions during the riot. After all, she was the one responsible for security during the riot gone bad.

Makes one wonder as to complicity.

Coincidence? I think the word you're searching for is "stupid" as in:

Boy, it sure was stupid of these insurgents to pick a day that always features AP photojournalists on scene to catch the action if they really didn't want all that publicity!

Does that day qualify as a special ceremony?

What do you think?

"Special" sure, but not unprecedented or unpredictable at all.
Guess who has to declare it 'special'........same person who failed to use 20,000 national guard troops the the President authorized for the rally, something like 6 days before the treasonous act of sedition.

DC Guard chief details Pentagon delays during Jan. 6 riot at Capitol

Walker calls restrictions on his ability to deploy his force ‘unusual’

Scores of District of Columbia National Guardsmen loaded on buses at the Washington Armory and were ready to deploy as pro-Trump rioters breached the Capitol on Jan. 6, but minutes turned into hours as they awaited permission from the Pentagon to move out.

Maj. Gen. William J. Walker, the commander of the D.C. National Guard, told lawmakers Wednesday that written instructions issued ahead of the insurrection from then-acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller and then-Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy limited his ability to deploy his troops where, as a commander, he felt they were needed.

On Jan. 6, Walker and top officials from the U.S. Capitol Police and Metropolitan Police Department pleaded for permission to send the National Guard to help secure the Capitol during a phone call around 2:22 p.m. with defense officials. But Walker said he didn’t receive the go-ahead to send his troops to the Capitol until just after 5 p.m.

Because the District of Columbia is not a state and thus does not have a governor, the president is the commander in chief of the D.C. National Guard. The chain of command runs down to the Defense secretary and the Army secretary.

‘Unusual’ restrictions

McCarthy’s written instructions from Jan. 5 required Walker to seek specific permission to deploy a 40-member quick reaction team. McCarthy also required Walker to send him a “concept of operation” before that team could be used.

“Based on the Defense Department’s public timeline, once requested, it took the National Guard over three hours to arrive at the Capitol. Now remember, we were all watching this on CNN, and Fox and MSNBC, and it’s a riot,” the Ohio Republican said. “We need to know why the Pentagon took so long to deploy the National Guard.”
