Police officers do not belong on school property. If there is a crime underway then call them in. Otherwise? Leave them out. They are trained to deal with criminals. Not students.

Thanks, Longknife.
The rest of the students - other than the "victim" - may well gain a valuable life-lesson from this mess and in doing so may well teach something to the rest of us.
Exactly. Many students ARE criminals.Police officers do not belong on school property. If there is a crime underway then call them in. Otherwise? Leave them out. They are trained to deal with criminals. Not students.
If they break the law call the police. If they break a school rule suspend them or expel them. You do not need a police officer. You need a school principal that knows how to pick up a telephone and call the parents to collect their child. Very simple procedure. It's worked very well for decades. Many students ARE criminals.Police officers do not belong on school property. If there is a crime underway then call them in. Otherwise? Leave them out. They are trained to deal with criminals. Not students.
Name? Okay, move over to the designated thrower...

And news for the kids, the cop's career is over and he is banned for life from the district properties. That's life, deal with it.

Actually it is a shame. The police officer should never have been called in - in the first place, PMH. He was trained to deal with criminals. Not students.
So are many adults. .......and your point is?Many students ARE criminals.Police officers do not belong on school property. If there is a crime underway then call them in. Otherwise? Leave them out. They are trained to deal with criminals. Not students.
