ted cruz burned by the fires he stoked, birther style.

According to U.S. Federal law, Cruz is a natural born citizen.

If he has one parent who is a US citizen, even if Ted Cruz was born outside the country (he was born in Canada), he is a citizen by birth. Provided his mother (who was the US citizen) spent the right amount of time in the US prior to his birth, as she did.

Looks like the liberals are getting more and more desperate. Now they're making up imaginary "accusations" and hurling them everywhere they can, facts and law be damned.

These issues are being brought up by conservatives. Trump, Coulter, McCain.

Don't try and hoist your own ilk's birther batshit on anyone us.

Still no responses from liberals except "Quit talking about that! Quit talking about that!!!" ad infinitum.

Still ignoring the fact that its conservatives that are bringing this issue up? Trump, Coulter, McCain and others?

Apparently in the party of 'personal responsibility', its always someone else's fault.

Cruz life is a freaking open book. By now the Media Matters gang will have gone into his family's background even his ancestors looking for dirt. His eligibility to be president ,based on the Constitution, is a much discussed topic. Where were the Constitutional scholars when Barry Hussein Sotoro Obama was running for president? ?

You have made the same crap claims before- but when I challenged you on them- you ran like a little girl seeing a frog.

I will be glad to compare Cruz's 'open book' with Obama's.

Once again- let us start with the name of Cruz's kindergarten teachers- who were they?

Every liberal who posts here at USMB that I have seen has said Cruz is eligible.

I do- of course he is eligible- it is RWNJ's like Stevie the racist who is claiming he is not.

Oh and Trump of course......and Ann Coulter....

Would you guys get it right. It's:

Rafael Edwardo Cruz

There is no "Ted".

What's funny is that even though there's no substance to the non-eligible charge, the party elite, on both sides, is doing absolutely nothing to tamp down the Big Quack rhetoric. At one time, the media speculated the gop would be OK with Cruz as the nominee because he would at least let them hold congress even if he lost the general election. But, it appears the party would prefer to go down to total defeat, and rebuild from there, rather than accept Cruz.

Ted Cruz gets burned by the birther fires he stoked

built a fire under his own ass, heh, politicians do that. there would be enough time for the supremes to define natural born, they are a cycle late and an election short.

rubio's parents weren't citizens at the time of his birth, but we have the same birthday, so that makes him eligible.

When you dance with the devil, the choreography can get awkward.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) last week made his latest appeal to the U.S. nativist fringe by naming Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) as a national co-chairman of his presidential campaign. King, called a “courageous conservative” and “incredible leader” by Cruz, is the anti-immigrant hard-liner who spoke of Mexican immigrants having “calves the size of cantaloupes” and who was a prominent birther.
Trump is the most prominent birther; which automatically disqualifies him from serious consideration for high office.

The Big Quack's dogged (-: support of the birther nonsense was really no more than pandering to the racists. He kept it up long after other rationale disappeared. It was always bogus, but for some change is hard. But eventually you have to accept that people did lawfully elect a beneficiary of affirm action who is a political liberal elitist.

No substance to the "non-eligible" charge? You know you are wrong. The SC has never ruled on the def for "natural born citizen".
