Looks like there are others appreciative of Israel's high tech abilities.

Ten Israeli start-ups have been selected to set up shop in Boston, where they plan to compete for as much as a million dollars in funding, courtesy of the State of Massachusetts. The MassChallenge competition awards over $1 million in cash prizes to winning start-ups, with no strings attached, along with top-tier mentoring, training, free office space, access to funding, legal advice, media and over $15 million of in-kind support.

While Israeli start-ups compete in tech challenges around the world, MassChallenge is different. The MassChallenge program is five years old, and is being run in Israel for the second time. It is the only place outside Massachusetts to be so honored.

So high a regard does Massachusetts have for Israeli tech that this year’s MassChallenge finalists were announced last Thursday by MassChallenge CEO John Harthorne, together with Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, at an event in Tel Aviv. Patrick led a delegation of over 120 Massachusetts business and academic leaders representing nearly 60 companies and institutions in IT, healthcare, energy and water technology, cyber security, academia, financial services and life sciences. It was, said the New England-Israel business council, the largest-ever economic trade mission to visit Israel from the US, far bigger than the delegation Patrick led here on his last visit in 2011.

I like this idea.
I also have been happy when groups share office or warehouses. Each groups set up office space with cubical walls group tables with computer line so they can share idea and actually speak to each other, Joint "conference" room to meet with investors and for customers. San Fransisco set up this model for start up and it is working well.
There are place with kitchen space fully equipped for small shops, markets and truck venders to prepare food and coolers to store a rack of items.
There are fully equipped garages for the do it yourselfers that can't afford to buy tools and/or that don't have a space to work from. They rent the garage space and I believe tools are included, though there may be some specialize tools that you rent extra.
We have car renters from spot to spot that you rent by the hour or minutes in some larger cities now.
There are office shares in big cities for those on the road that need an office or a day or week with a receptionist, phones, computers, other office machines, etc., in each city they go to.
There are places to have a store front like cubical/booth markets as well as business buildings and malls that can be seasonal.
I used to live the kinco office store but now staples, etc. do almost the same thing.
It is hard and expensive to start a business or get an idea manufactured, advertized and distributed. Out of a garage or van is not always permitted, especially in gated communities, condos, apartments or even at a home with family distractions.
