Manhattan Beach Middle School was teaching children Islam. Not teaching history of Islam, which would include a horrendous violent past and oppressing women. They were teaching them the tenets and having them read from the Koran and write passages. They concluded by having them exclaim that the one true God was allah. This is not merely talking about history of the religions. This is another one of CAIR's attempts to push their religion on people in hopes of converting them.
A father of a student asked, "Can you imagine the outcry all over this country if children were bringing home paperwork that asked them to write down John 3:16, or asked them to write down the 10 Commandments?" The father continued, "What I saw written in these bubbles was, ‘The one true God, Allah’ in one of the bubbles. In one of the other bubbles was ‘All people must submit to Allah,’ in another bubble. The I turned the page over and I see the five pillars of Islam."
Teaching about religions and discussing the differences and history does not include having students remember things from bibles or the koran. This is going to far. CAIR expressed disdain for the father's decision to remove his son from the class and called him an Islamaphobe.
CAIR has one interest and that is to covert people to Islam. They need to get the hell out of our schools. They shouldn't even be allowed in our country given their terrorist ties. What is wrong with Obama that he panders to all things Muslim and isn't so kind to Christians? I don't recall ever being taught Christianity in schools or being made to write down the ten commandments. Our children should not be reading the koran or told that allah is the one true God.
This is indefensible. CAIR is dangerous and yet the Obama administration feels good about allowing them to influence so much.
