Meanwhile back in reality....Wrong, the “black community” has long ganged up against the police when they attempt to arrest or detain a black criminal. We’ve all seen it on TV and YouTube, crowds immediately form to harass and intimidate cops trying to make proper arrests of criminals.
There are a lot of power boaters (what “rag bagging” sailors like me call “ stink potters”) who have no business behind the controls of a boat. They don’t know the rules of the road, don’t know how to safely operate a boat and often don’t give a damn. For instance, I was test sailing a boat with a neighbor who was going to buy it. The two stroke outboard died so we had to dock at the ramp under sail. For over an hour every time we’ed line up and approach the dock under sail a powerboat would cut in front of us. We kept our cool and eventually a L.A. County Sheriff’s police boat saw what was happening and escorted us into the dock and then read all the people who had been cutting us off the riot act. Oddly enough every single one of them had never heard that sailboats have right of way over power boats. Another time when I was in college, I was tacking a fourteen foot rental sailboat down a narrow channel in Marina del Rey and a guy in a fifty foot or so power boat crossed behind me, them stopped cutting me off leaving me the choice of sailing straight into a docked boat, or tacking and gently contacting him. He started screaming about calling the harbor patrol, I insisted he do so. They came interviewed everyone and gave him a ticket. He had no idea that I couldn’t sail straight into the wind and had no room to do a 270 degree turn downwind and go behind him. When the guys from the rental dock who had witnessed the whole thing came to tow me back to the dock the idiot power boater was still screaming at the cops and threatening to sue then., me and the rental company for the scratches I put into his paint,Boat launch fights rarely happen in the pre-dawn morning.
It's almost always on weekend afternoons.
I know there's fights at a certain one in Florida about every other weekend, and I have seen some stuff.
Several trucks go into the water....
