We're treating refugees like refugees. Until they have their cases heard in court. The KIDS are not ALLOWED to be detained in general Detention. They don't even STAY in the custody of CBPatrol or ICE after 20 days per the courts interpretation of the law. And if their family brought them TO the border thru an actual CHECKPOINT -- and didn't have a cartel coyote drag them across illegally -- they will now go WITH their family member to FAMILY detention at an American military base pending their asylum claim.

Take up a collection to send the unescorted kids or family units to the Grand Floridian Hotel at DisneyWorld in Orlando if you that is "prison". I've stayed there several times. Kids love it. Maybe Uncle Sam could lease a couple resort hotels there or maybe a Trump Resort.

What do you WANT to do? Encourage the idea that dragging a kid --- ANY KID -- across the border is a free pass to roam America undocumented and unvetted?? Thats a hell of an adverse INCENTIVE to get MORE of the same and encourage A LOT of kidnapping and sales of kids in Central America. Idiot..

First, not a lot of people are being "Dragged across the border" .

In fact, most of them show up for their immigration hearings when they were released. They want to stay here legally.

Second, there are sensible ways to discourage undocumented immigration. One is to establish a national ID card with biometrics. Another is to do real enforcement of employment verification. We don't do that. The Rich White people who encourage them to come here need someone to take care of their screaming brats and work in their sweatshops.

But Trumpenfuhrer makes scapegoats out of these people, and you guys fall for it.

First, not a lot of people are being "Dragged across the border" .

The KIDS in the "family units" are dragged. Some as young as one year old. Also the ones SENT ALONE by their parents with unscrupulous coyotes are dragged. In BOTH cases -- it was PARENTAL discretion to take the risks.

A 12 yr old Guat kid is being groomed by the gangs. Mom has no idea how to stop that except risking their lives to invade the US. Mexico won't have them but has no problem letting the cartels ESCORT them to our border. Any message that you have a "get in free card" if you drag a kid along with you will encourage horrible crime and corruption in these areas where crime and corruption are already rampant. KIDNAPPINGS in Central America are ALREADY a major issue. And there are many cases of SELLING kids to folks who USE them to crash our border. You do not WANT to promote this concept. Because our southern border will RESEMBLE the Muslim/African migrant hordes in no time at all..

Then why does your tribe BLOCK legislation to enforce Instacheck requirements? This ENTIRE ISSUE STOPS tomorrow if the CURRENT LAW that you cannot hire undocumented people is enforced. No fucking wall required. Why do the Dems oppose this? Do you support denying work to ALL the undocumented. I don't.

A National ID won't fix this. The 1500 apprehensions at the border everyday is just a THIRD of the people crossing. And you'd have to post an UNDOCUMENTED/Temp VISA status on their cards. Something YOUR tribe would never do IF they ever APPLIED for a card.

The policy of family detention IF they came thru a Checkpoint never changed. The detainment went from "refugee status" to CRIMINAL status if they crossed illegally. That was ALWAYS the case. The only diff was -- the Obama Admin STOPPED even fingerprinting the crashers and released them.

There's a backlog of about 10,000 asylum cases. It takes YEARS to resolve with appeals. If they APPEAL and are in a refugee camp --- that's THEIR decision. We need to clarify the asylum reqs with Congressional Action and REJECT more sooner. So that the DESERVING ones don't HAVE to suffer our INCOMPETENT and INEPT govt actions..

You're not helping with ANY of us. And what you're proposing -- like stopping ALL undocumented from working doesn't appear to be sincere. How do you catch and release if they CAN NOT have an income?

It SEEMS you've spent 85% designing your OUTRAGE on this. Remember, you're 1st post to me here PULLED the Nazi card. And less than 15% of your time on this issue actually THINKING about helping to fix it. That's the problem right now. Too many people screaming slogans. Not enough thinking about fixing it in any realistic way..
