The Donald Trump Phenomenon

Yes we understand why trump is doing well. Many people are so tired of the same lame bullshit they'll vote for anyone that bucks that trend. I also would like to see an outsider win for a change.

trump is not the guy. He's a bloviating rich idiot. We need someone like this to come out of the middle class or from the poor. A true populist.

People glamming on to trump is just accepting the first widget that comes down the assembly line that looks different than the rest.

Unfortunately the quality is missing. He has the mind of an adolescent.
Yes because adolescents write best selling books, become stars on TV and make billions of dollars ever day.

Lol, it is hilarious that you dimwits cant see what utter fools you sound like.

:cuckoo:

it appears trump is soon to be another that will live the

rest of his days rent free in your head

--LOL

Cryptic nonsense that lives rent free in your head right now.

It is one of the absolute NEEDS of conservatives to project their mental distortions out onto other people.

:cuckoo:
Lol, irony is reaching Great Flood levels right now.

You better hurry up and find that 'middle class populist
If there's one hiding their light under a bushel you better get him in the race. You have about two weeks before Trump is the 100% guaranteed nominee.
Look at Trump's competition. Pretty fucking lame.
Trump craps bigger than you pal. The best part is you know it.

I am a Cruz supporter myself. but if Trump clinches it I will vote for him over those two: old fogie debbie downers, liars, panderers from the Democrat party. I just hope if Trump wins he does what he says he will. He is tapping into the anger, the American people is fed up with these parties and this President especially.

Like you, I am a Cruz supporter and I have been saying, (and I have posted here), that I fully intend to vote for Trump if he wins the nomination. However, my sentiments have started to change in recent days due to what Trump is doing. Ted Cruz is a good man. He is a man of integrity and honor. Trump began saying just vicious and nasty things about him before the Iowa caucuses and he hasn't shut up. Now, I can excuse a little of this because it's politics and they're trying to win the primaries. At the time, Cruz and Trump were statistically tied in the polls and I could understand how Trump felt he needed to go negative. I didn't like it, but I understood it. We're beyond that now.

For Trump to continue this narrative of 'Ted Cruz is a nasty liar... a sick man... something's wrong with him... etc.' is turning me off in a big way. It reminds me of the shit stain liberals who can't run on the issues and just have to lob personal insults to win. And WHY? Trump has now won 3 of 4 primaries/caucuses with impressive numbers. He's leading across the board. Why keep smearing, insulting and denigrating Ted Cruz? He did the same thing with Ben Carson, who I also have great respect for. These are smart men who are great conservatives. They have loyal followings of supporters who admire them and respect them. Does Trump not understand that he has to win these people over in order to win in November?

He is doing things now that are going to cost us the election and it's not only classless and unnecessary, it's just plain stupid. For someone who prides himself in being a great deal maker and negotiator, he is certainly not demonstrating any strategical sense here. The first part of this is to win the nomination... looks like he is well on his way there... but the next part is to win the general election and he is doing things that are going to alienate the people he needs to win. It's Reagan's 11th Commandment and Trump is shitting all over it like he just doesn't care. And I come here and see his enthusiastic supporters jumping right in there to reinforce this nonsense. Attack, smear, denigrate, humiliate... like little Morton Downey, Jr.s! NOT against liberals or Hillary... but against Conservatives!

If he doesn't change this tone, I am not going to vote for him.. I will sit home and watch this nation elect another Socialist! I don't WANT to do that, but there is a limit to how much I can tolerate of this. I'm reasonable... go after Ted Cruz on his policy ideas... go after his tax plan or his position on trade... I'm fine with that... you don't even have to be "politically correct" but this relentless and vile foaming-at-the-mouth attacking and humiliating needs to stop now.... or it's over with for Trump, he WILL lose in November.
Cruz has done his share of making personal insults at Trump. He fucked over Carson.
Cruz is the fucking 'born again' greasy creep who I'd NEVER trust my children to be alone with. There's something that is making millions of potential voters warning antennas' go up when they watch/listen to Criz.

I am a Ted Cruz supporter, but I want to say a thing or too to my Republican brothers and sisters...indeed to all of my American brothers and sisters...about Donald Trump.
I hear many people, analysts, prgnosticators, and politicians trying to explain the Turmp "Phenomenon."
They go to great lengths about all sorts of things when it is really pretty easy and straight forward. It's a three bullet point explanation:
  1. Most American people have lost complete faith in career politians and the political establishment on both sides of the aisle.
  2. Most American pople are tired of the US getting a bad rap and bad deals, whether from our own people here, or from people or nations abroad.
  3. Most American people believe, irrespective of whatever else, that Donald Trump means what he says and will do all he can to make it happen.
It's really that simple.

Say what you will about the man. Call him irreverant. Call him angry. Call him a braggart. Call him whatever you want.

Most people already understand all those types of things about him...and they are getting behind him anyway because of those three very direct points I just mentioned.

He has opened the doors wide on issues that most Americans think about...and offering solutions that most American people have already thought to themselves.
Now those same Americans are finding out that the right person does not have to be politically correct.
The right person does not have to be politically spit and polished. The right person simply has to be believed.
Let's just look at five pretty big things real quickly:
  1. Trump knows we have to have a border...and he is going to create one and enforce it. Most Americans agree with that sentiment. Most Americans want that to happen.
all of it here:
http://www.jeffhead.com/Trump-phenom.htm

Cruz can't win the White House either. He's too far right--and his eligibility would be challenged all the way up to election day.

Marco Rubio--is the only chance to defeat Hillary Clinton. But I doubt Ted Cruz will drop out of this race, so the vote will be split and we'll get Donald Trump as the nominee, who will most certainly get wiped by Hillary Clinton.

Kasich is a conservative who will do great things for our economy without the idiotic warmongering and jingoism.

Kasich deserves America's vote, but the people are too stupid to give it to him.

Let me tell you something about Kasich. He takes credit for balancing the budget in Ohio, and actually creating a surplus. There are two issues here. First of all, "The Donald" is actually correct in saying Kasich got lucky that Ohio is a big oil and gas producer. That industry has created thousands of jobs, but they are disappearing fast as gas prices are way down. He hasn't done much for jobs outside of gas and oil, that is number one. Number two is the fact that he balanced the state budget by decimating education spending. School districts across the state saw their total funding cut by up to 20% due to the state cuts. This has led to massive increases in property taxes to make up the difference. Kasich robbed Peter to pay Paul. He just passed the buck on to the local districts. He didn't save money, but he made himself look good. Kasich is definitely not the answer.

I'd hazard a guess that the Donald does crap bigger than I.

Watch what happens when Trump puts up a billion dollars....yes with a 'B' in anti-Hillary ads.
These ads are already in the can.
The best PR firms on the planet have been hired by Trump to humiliate Hillary.
By the time election day comes she'll be hiding in a fucking dark closet.
Trump has DOZENS of former victims of Bill's sexual predation who have already made ads telling how Hillary attempted to insult and demean and threaten them if they ever came forward with the truth. The VERY best part is some of these Victims have PROOF of Hillary's complicency.
The best part is Hillary KNOWS Trump has these women just itching to get some fucking-pay-back' against Hillary.
Wait and see what the FBI does in the next month.
A judge has just issued a ruling that Huma AND Hillary must testify as to their role in the email scandal. If either of them take the Fifth Hillary is finished.

I've never heard Cruz personally insult anyone, especially Trump. Carson fucked over himself when he told CNN he was headed back to Florida to get a change of clothes.

Greasy? Do you mean the way he styles his hair or something? WTF? And what's with this "never leave my child alone with" nonsense? I'll tell you what's up with the electorate, they are hearing left wing Alinsky style SMEAR at full throttle. Conservatives can't win because whenever they run, every political rat on the ship jumps on their back and starts devouring them.

Would you call Trump a capitalist?
"One of Trump’s top proposals, emblematic of a wider protectionist approach, is to stop Ford Motor Co.’s construction of a plant in Mexico, by threatening the Michigan company with tariffs on goods it might build south of the border.

"'Let me give you the bad news: Every car, every truck and every part manufactured in this plant that comes across the border, we’re going to charge you a 35 percent tax — okay? — and that tax is going to be paid simultaneously with the transaction,' Trump said in June, playacting a phone call with Ford’s chief executive.'

"It’s a remarkable take on capitalism for a Republican, this vision of the president thuggishly telling private business managers what they can and cannot do with their property. And he calls Bernie Sanders a communist!"

Donald Trump’s contempt for the free market

However, I don't think he is "a good man" or "a man of integrity and honor". As a matter of fact, I have drawn an opposite conclusion. I believe he is willing to do whatever to reach his goals, including despicable tricks that a lot of people hate. This is, believe it or not, my true feelings about him. That's why I don't blame Trump for calling him "a liar" or "a sick man", especially considering the fierce competition between the two in Texas.

Despicable tricks? Like speaking in Spanish to Univision and telling them you will not rescind Obama's amnesty EO (DOCA) if you're elected... then turning around to your English-speaking audience and claiming you've never taken that position... knowing that you co-sponsored an amnesty bill yourself... and when that is pointed out by your competition, calling them a liar? You mean "despicable tricks" like denying you said to Chris Matthews on MSNBC that you think Planned Parenthood does some wonderful things for women and you wouldn't defund them and when your opposition points this out, you call them the "single biggest liar."? OR maybe you're talking about "despicable tricks" like taking a comment in a book from 15 years ago out of context to smear the reputation of a great neurosurgeon who you happen to be running against... calling him a "damaged person with pathological disease?"

A few weeks ago, while running in Iowa, someone asked Trump about Federal land grabs... the issue in Oregon was heating up at the time... This is where the Federal government is taking land from state control under the National Parks Act and a good many people are fiercely opposed to this... So they ask Trump directly, do you think the Federal government ought to be doing this and he said YES... They do a wonderful job with the land...blah blah blah... Jump ahead a few weeks and the Cruz campaign runs a commercial taking Trump to task for his unorthodox, non-conservative, statist Big Government answer... and Trump acts like he never said this and doesn't know what the hell they're talking about... Cruz is just a sick liar! No... Cruz is telling the truth! Rubio and Trump are lying.

Doesn't Trump subscribe to "big lie" strategy (from Hitler's Mein Kampf)? I think I read an article quite some time ago claiming that Trump kept a copy of Mein Kampf and used it as a strategy manual for success in business. I'll have to search and see if I can find that article.
