Was the recent election a referendum on the people believing in the Republicans or repudiation of Obama and the liberal establishment?

I can't help that the people blamed the Democrats and especially Obama for the dysfunction in government.

What say you? Was it really about individual candidates or a movement in a particular direction?

Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Barak Obama suffered from victory disease and Ds across the country paid the price.

Let's review the bidding:

Obama's two qualifications were:

His use of innovative big data to direct his primary campaign against Hillary.

He managed to appease both blacks and hispanics without delivering on his promises to either.

The electoral advantage is gone.

Between the Ebola crisis, the border crisis, failure to get immigration reform in 2009-10 and flaws in Ocare both blacks and hispanics are becoming slightly but definitely more Republican at least in terms of holding elected office.

The Ds are in structural trouble.
