The growth in the money supply began during Trump's presidency in order to fight the economic impact of COVID. Had he succeeded in his coup plot he no doubt would have continued those policies as Biden did. Those policies not being the sole reason behind the spike in inflation which has come down to within roughly 1 percentage point of the Fed's goal.

Consider the party in Congress that ALWAYS votes in lock-step on all controversial legislation. That is to say, if any of them have doubts, they quash those doubts to vote the party line. This is a sign of a moribund, dishonest, intellectually dead party.
