When it comes to Iran, the Democrats who want to be president are full of sound and fury. They are certain President Trump has brought us to the brink of war and demand answers about the imminent threat of attack the administration cited.
But if you ignore the noise and focus on their actual words, you notice a giant hole in the criticism. The leading Dems are not arguing that Trump was wrong to drone Qassem Soleimani, nor have they said flatly they would not have approved the mission.
Their sound and fury, then, amounts to empty screeching and nothing else.

What was Soleimani doing in Iraq? This is the question. what has he been doing for more than a decade? He's been attacking, killing and maiming American personnel. He was ordered to do so and supported by the Iranian Ayatollahs. That’s an act of war in itself. Taking him out was reasonable, even restrained.

I think it was.

1. Trump took out their TOP guy in the country, most important short of the Ayatollah himself. They had a total bird at the loss, plus it showed them we know right where each of them are and can take them out at will.
2. Iran is now in a far tougher spot with half the US military now breathing down their collars.
   
3. After beating his head against the wall in grief, anger, helplessness and frustration, the Ayatollah realized he's gotta show his people he's in control to save face, so called us up and told us: "Hey, I have to save some face here. I'm gonna lob some rockets over your heads to make my people happy. Whatever you do, don't attack us anymore!"
4. Trump puts out the Statesman Speech to end all statesmen speeches the next day, putting the ball into the world's court.
5. Nancy and the democrats look the ass for their panicked falling sky scorched earth talk.
6. Everyone has forgotten impeachment. It's off the front page now and no one's going to remove a president successfully defending America with world class foreign policy.
7. The market soars.
8. Trump's numbers go up.
9. This put the kibosh to the Dems Iowa Caucus.
10. Over the coming months, we start to see a corner turned with Iran.
11. The Senate fully acquits Trump.
12. Democrats are made to look the ass for their continued games.
13. Trump handily wins reelection.
